My favorite building in the world, Chrysler Building, is in there, somewhere. It's all just kind of a big tall concrete blob. You can't even really see the individual skyscrapers that well, besides the prominent WTC1. all a bit too compressed into one compact space. I'm not a huge fan of New York's (Manhattan's) skyline, honestly. Huh? Do you need glasses? Where are you getting this stuff? Calm down, relax a bit. The tower development rage in Midtown just needs to spread into Downtown more, which, it will.Īnd I said that Atlanta's skyline is spread out, which it most definitely is. It won't be that way forever, and it's changing already. This is not an insult, I'm just stating it like it is. And that's not even to mention Midtown, which has just as much or more totally undeveloped spots (no thanks to Dewberry). But it's a fact that a whole lot of this is surface do you get "lies" from what I said, about these vast seas of grey? Lies, really?Īnyway, my point was not to make a negative comment at all, it was to make a positive statement about the future, that there are a lot of underused blocks throughout there, particularly in Downtown, where there will likely be future tall building developments. Way to make every unrelated thread about your apparent bone to pick. What is your deal? Once again I'm sorry that you got your overly sensitive feelings hurt, because my little one sentence generalization tacked on there at the end of my totally pro-Atlanta post was not in line with a flattering fantasy description of a flawless Atlanta in your head.
